Garden Update Number 1

Can I just recount the conversation that I just witnessed?
[While bringing out the compost from the kitchen to the bin]
"I turned it earlier.  I put rhubarb leaves in.  Is that ok?  They aren't poisonous or anything?"
"Well, they are but . . ."

Yes, we have rhubarb in our garden also.  I failed to mention that last time.  I picked some today.  Hmmmm . . . strawberries . . . rhubarb . . . suspicious.

Also!  We have our first pepper growing.  It's still a mere baby, but it's still a pepper!  Our pepper plants took all summer to get bigger than 5 inches tall last year.
